Soft (heavy ground in places). Always a slight concern. Tephi has been trying hard and speedy but no value. Has a couple of class 2 stakes entries. Seantrabh ran well on debut and then disappointed when stepped up in class at Listed. Quite a small horse and whether he enjoys the soft ground who knows. Once again, no great value. Mick Channon fields Sera Dawn who made a decent start at Yarmouth and drops down a furlong. Interesting that this filly was given a listed race entry. It could be a sign of ability and more to come. Not the easiest to asses and could be a tricky race. I may be tempted to bet on Channon's if drifting to 8/1+ on Betfair but that is unlikely to happen and it's all about finding value.

Dream Mission hails from a stable that can go well on debut. It has been a relatively quiet time for Archie Watson who can have debut winners in October and has loftier claims if 9/2 and less sp. Jack Of Clubs was relatively fancied on debut and ran well enough. Slightly keen in the early stages but still made a decent effort, not beaten far, and has fair stats. Could well improve for that debut effort and not a bad looking gelding. Oahu has raced five times which is a negative. Raced at listed class last time and run over a varied distances. Unless starting favourite may struggle to win. Global Effort has a similar profile. Unless favourite I would look elsewhere. Vixey has shown a bit of ability on both starts. Chris Fairhurst is often overlooked but a talented trainer and can win races. This experience should help and even though no guarantee could take advantage if this race falls apart. I wouldn't be tempted to bet unless a big drifter and value. Could well get placed. An open looking race but would be considering Dods and Fairhurst's as possibilities. However, if one of the form horses with multiple races starts favourite I would have concerns.
