1:30 Lingfield Racing Tips (13th June)

1:30 Lingfield -

A lowly Banded race. To be fair there are a few horses turning up here who have an element of ability and will be fancying their chance. Crosstitch ran well enough last start at Leicester, in a rate that's working out well. Bell's gelding didn't have the easiest passage that day but battled on to hit the frame. A horse that doesn't look the fastest off the spot but likely to run on at the line.

Carry On Aitch ran in the same race for Philip McBride, a trainer who knows his horses, who got a terrible start that day but closed on the lead before tiring. If starting on terms may figure a little better today. Whether she will be a match for Bell's gelding only time will tell but a bigger price is on offer for those who fancy her chances.

Mai Alward is a well-balanced, compact filly who looks to travelled well and finish her race. She finished strongly at Kempton last time and wasn't given the hardest race. Kevin Philipart de Foy is a talented trainer and I have little doubt he will be heading here will real hope and looks the type to hold decent each way claims.

Queen Of Romford had no luck on debut but improved next start behind a couple of talented juveniles, especially for the grade of race.

Green Zabeel was a short price on debut when disappointing finishing last. If priced 13/2 and less sp would suggest better is expected and may hold claims.

Conclusion: A competitive heat and not the easiest of races to hold strong opinions. However, Crosstitch and Mai Alward have respectable each way claims if prices allow.
