Friday's Racing Tips (6th August)

A very brief post where being succinct wins by a short head.

Lots of races today:

2:25 Brighton

This looks a poor race and Wonderful World looks to hold a fighting chance. I think if you can get 11/4 on the exchanges you'll be very lucky. Not much value going on here but respected.

5:05 Newmarket

Rum Cocktail is of interest but I'd like a big drift in the betting to add a bit more meat to the bone.

5:38 Newcastle

Selling races aren't really my thing but Champagne Dial might bring some cheer to backers if the money comes.

6:08 Newmarket

If money talks Hafit will be in cruise control. A price tag worth over £2M. Money is no object, hey. To be fair, Charlie Appleby's debutantes have not been hitting the mark this season and that may give a glimmer of hope for a horse to slip under the radar. Razzle Dazzle is an interesting two-year-old for Richard Hannon and I'm pretty sure this colt has ability.

6:22 Haydock

A competitive heat. A bit of everything going on here and I really wouldn't like to say which will be winning. Keep an eye on the form of this race because I imagine those placed will be winning next time out.

6:52 Haydock

Another tight contest with Spacer, El Hibri and King Of York all fancying their chances of winning. Oh Herberts Reign isn't out of it either. Unless one of these drifts to the extreme I won't be betting. I need to review this race and individuals to pick between the lines.

7:22 Haydock

The third of these competitive if not difficult races assess. I will be watching.
