Eve Johnson Houghton 10 Two-year-olds to Follow in 2020

Woodway Stables, Blewbury, Oxfordshire is steeped in racing history. Eve returned to Wooday in 1999 to followed in the footsteps of her father Fulke who trained at this beautiful location for over forty years. However, the story doesn't stop there because his mother, Helen, preceded him as did her husband, Gordon.

Eve has trained a number of exceptional horses. Who could forget Tout Seul in the ownership of Eden Racing, very much a bargain buy at 12,000, but a wonderful specimen? He ran seven times at two winning five races. This son of Ali-Royal went on to win the Darley Dewhurst Stakes (Group 1).

He went on to finish 4th in the 2000 Guineas (losing by just over a length) and campaigned at the highest level at three including racing far afield as Lonchamp, France, Kyoto & Tokyo, Japan.

Tout Seul went on to stand at stud.

Accidental Agent was another very talented horse who won the Queen Anne Stakes (Group 1) at Royal Ascot.

Personally, two-year-old horses I remember include Roodle (2009), Zingana (2011) won on debut at odds of 100/1, Alutiq (2013), Cool Bahamian (2013), Room Key (2014),  Bahamadam (2016), Tin Hat (2018), Oberyn Martell (2018) & Graceful Magic (2019).

Eve has kindly forwarded 10 two-year-olds to follow this Flat season 2020. We thank her kindly for taking the time and wish the stable all the best for this season. Reviewing the Horses in Training publication Eve has 28 juveniles in training at this time.
