SATURDAY -

Doncaster 18:45

Trackers: Queen's Guard, Snafiya

Snafiya has performed well enough and with cheekpieces applied could be her day.

The tracker I'm most interested in is the Michael Bell trained Queen's Guard. Purchased for 125,000 gns. Dam So Brave won a few times for Archie Watson.  I'll be watching only as first timeout.

19:30 Haydock Varden

Interesting race but only one tracker. The Bungleinthejungle Kevin Ryan colt made his debut at York in the Frank Whittle Stakes back in May, pretty dire debut to be honest but been off the track since May. Outpaced and always towards the rear, would have to improve a lot to figure and one to watch in the betting.

Newbury 13:15 Savvy Kingdom

85,000 gns purchase for trainer Simon Woods. Made his debut in a Windsor maiden last month . Easy to back at 8/1 that day. Nicely away and settled by David Egan up with the pace until ridden to win the race the final furlong, couldn't quite get to Kinnigoli Kid and Free Nation but a nice introduction to finish third. The fourth won since and the fifth finished a close second. A few nice pedigrees here and the betting should tell the story but 5s about Savvy is worth an each way bet for me.

Newbury 16:10

Trackers: Free Nation, Mr Wonderful

Free Nation no value but 12s about Mr Wonderful looks each way for me. The 185,000 euro breeze-up purchase owned by Amo Racing and trained by Richard Hannon has had one race so far and managed to get no run at all. Dam Wanting won three times in her only season for Charlie Appleby. I'm hopeful Mr Wonderful can show more today and as I said 12s looks value to me.

14:46 Ripon

Trackers:Tropical Air, Mirroring

Two outsiders looking at the overnight market. Mirroring hasn't shown much and definitely needs to improve. Same can be said about the Charlie Johnston trained Tropical Air, worth keeping an eye on the market with both.

Thanks for reading and good luck.
