1:50 Salisbury Racing Tips (11th July)

Life is busy at the minute but as you probably know If I like anything I mention it on Twitter, to be fair it hasn’t been too bad lately with a few horses winning, first off was the Karl Burke runner Fast Response who won at Windsor last week. I’ve banged on I'm not sure how many times on this page that if the money comes on a Karl Burke second time out runner get on it.

Next winner was Noble Truth who won nicely at Newmarket on Friday. I was happy with the 4/1 I took considering the Kingman colt ended 5/2.

Last but not least was the Richard Hannon trained Ardbraccan who won at odds of 13/2 at Newmarket yesterday. I was pleased with that one to be honest because I can normally never catch Richard Hannon.

Anyway, enough of the past, let's look to the future. I do still have a few 3yo trackers coming through but I will get to them later.

Writing this post a bit late and as I do the horse I have bet on the price has already dropped. I’ve had a Richard Hannon 2yo winner so I will stick with him again tomorrow.

This does look a tough little race to be fair, I will mention a few.

One of the market leaders at the minute is Adjuvant for Michael Bell who justified market support on debut at Chester to win nicely, the win penalty makes life difficult here.

Brian Meehan, as we know, is a very capable trainer and can pop up with a big priced 2yo winner now and again, I imagine his runner City Runner will have followers and should step up on a decent second when finishing second to Orazio at Windsor.

It’s been a slow start for Roger Varian's 2yo this season and despite a few placed efforts he is still to find a winner, he runs Sed Maarib who ran in a decent race first timeout at Leicester last month. Roger does have a decent record here and some support already, if drifting to over 15/2 it would be a negative for me.

Clive Cox is another trainer who has a good record here and runs Let’s Fly Again here. The fact that the Kodiac colt is 16/1 at the minute is a negative but if attracting support would be a major player. Still a few more but I’m losing the motivation already here.

I took 6/1 when the prices came out on OH HERBETS REIGN for the Hannon stable. Owners Team Wallop have tasted success with Richard Hannon before when Oh Purple Reign won first time out back in 2019 and ran some cracking races as a 2yo. Oh Herberts Reign was well-supported on debut and despite finishing third out of four runners looked like he had more to offer. One negative for me would be the jockey who never does me any favours. If drifting to over 15/2 it would also be a negative for me, currently around 9/2 but as I said I have done a small each way at 6s.

A few more trackers but all first time out so I may just watch.
